Kutscherow’s 100th assist of the season for Tampa Bay

In the North American Ice Hockey League NHL, Nikita Kutscherow scored his 100th assist of the season in his Tampa Bay Lightning's 6-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday (local time).

The 30-year-old Russian is only the fifth player in NHL history to reach this mark. Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Orr and Connor McDavid had previously achieved this.

At the same time, the Dallas Stars secured first place in the Western Conference with a 2:1 overtime victory over the St. Louis Blues in their last game of the basic round.
