Kilos of drugs trafficked: 22-year-old in custody
After months of investigation, the handcuffs have now clicked for a 22-year-old from the district of St. Veit an der Glan. The man has allegedly been dealing narcotics since the beginning of 2022.
The narcotics group of the St. Veit an der Glan district police command investigated the 22-year-old for months. On Monday, the young man was finally arrested following an order from the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt.
"The 22-year-old is suspected of having bought at least five kilograms of herbal cannabis and 70 grams of cocaine since the beginning of 2022 and reselling them for profit," according to the provincial police directorate.
Defendant confesses to the crime
During the house search carried out on Monday, small quantities of herbal cannabis and typical scene paraphernalia were also found and seized. "The man has confessed. He was taken to Klagenfurt prison," said an investigator.
