Sebastian Ofner has been eliminated in round two of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona. The 27-year-old Styrian was beaten 4:6 and 5:7 by the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas on Wednesday.

After Ofner was narrowly beaten in the first set, the Styrian fought back bravely in the second round, was one break ahead at one point and had the set win within his grasp. However, Tsitsipas also responded with two breaks and put a spanner in Ofner's works.

In the round of 16, the Greek will now face Spain's Roberto Carballes Baena, who had previously beaten Italy's Lorenzo Musetti 7:6(4) and 6:4.
