Biker stopped
“Racer” had everything but a driver’s license
No driving license, but a positive rapid drug test and an impressive list of sins - instead of continuing to make the roads unsafe, a biker from the district of Gmunden is currently serving his substitute prison sentence at the police detention center in Linz.
A patrol noticed a motorcyclist on the B145 at around 8.20 a.m. on Monday who was driving at a very high speed in the Pinsdorf area in the direction of Vöcklabruck. During the pursuit, the officers detected several administrative violations. The 32-year-old Argentinian-Italian citizen from the district of Gmunden was therefore stopped and checked.
Rapid drug test was positive
The self-proclaimed racer stated that he did not have a driver's license, as this had already been taken from him. In addition, his motorcycle was not registered for traffic and he was driving with the license plate of a friend's motorcycle, which he was repairing. A rapid drug test was positive and the medical officer determined that he was unfit to drive.
Substitute custodial sentence in the police detention center
During the check, the 32-year-old had also identified himself with two forged Argentinian driving licenses, which were seized. Shortly afterwards, it also became known that the man had unpaid administrative fines in the four-digit euro range. He was therefore finally arrested. He is now serving his substitute custodial sentence in the Linz police detention center.
