The search for a coach at FC Bayern Munich is in full swing - and there is one name that those responsible can probably cross off their list. Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi apparently has no desire to move to the German Bundesliga.

"I feel very comfortable in England and I have no plans to leave," said the 44-year-old Italian in an interview with TV channel Bobo TV in his home country. There is "no club that can change my mind, I am committed. I love being at Brighton and I love the atmosphere in the stadium." He is ready to fulfill his contract with the club, which runs until 2026.

Nagelsmann probably Eberl's favorite
As the German newspaper "Sport Bild" reports, Bayern have not lost interest in the Italian despite these statements and are still looking at the Brighton coach. Nevertheless, another candidate is apparently in pole position to succeed Thomas Tuchel. The new sporting director Max Eberl is said to be courting former coach Julian Nagelsmann, who is currently team manager of the German national team.

Problem for Bayern: Nagelsmann is unlikely to decide on a possible return to Munich before the European Championship in the summer.
