Horrific accident: Woman (53) died in an inferno of flames!
A terrible accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the notorious Ennstalstraße near Mitterberg-St. Martin: a 53-year-old woman drove off the road in her car, which crashed into parked cars and immediately caught fire. The driver died at the scene of the accident.
At around 1.20 p.m., a 53-year-old woman was driving her car on the B 320. For reasons as yet unknown, the woman left the road to the right at a popular biker meeting place and crashed her car into the concrete base of a bicycle passage. The vehicle was subsequently catapulted into the air and crashed into several vehicles parked in front of the bar.
The car involved in the accident and the parked vehicles caught fire immediately. It was too late to help the occupant of the vehicle; the woman from the Liezen district died at the scene of the accident. No other persons were injured. The amount of damage is still unknown.
