Manuel Neuer not in the Bayern squad against Cologne

Surprise in Bayern's squad against 1. FC Köln. Coach Thomas Tuchel will be without keeper Manuel Neuer against the "Billy Goats", with Sven Ulreich standing between the posts in his place.

Neuer only made his comeback on Tuesday in the 2:2 draw against Arsenal in the Champions League, but now the 38-year-old is once again condemned to watch on. The club announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they did not want to take any risks after Neuer's adductor injury.

Leroy Sane is also missing from Munich's starting eleven. The winger had complained of pubic bone problems after the match in London and will also be rested. 

Bayern are already in danger of having to hand over the championship trophy to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. If Munich lose, Xabi Alonso's team will be crowned champions.
