Spring awakening and baby boom at the Alpine Zoo in Innsbruck - also among the wild boars. Six newborns recently saw the light of day.

"The little ones are really stirring up our enclosure, where the bison also live. It's fun to watch the little newborns exploring the enclosure when they're not resting with their mother or being fed," smiles zoo director André Stadler.

In addition to the bearded vulture chick, calves and the lambs on the farm, the zoo and especially the visitors can now look forward to more baby animals.
