The 99ers are pleased to announce their next new signing for the 2024/2025 season: the team from Graz has signed 27-year-old defender Frank Hora (USA). The ice hockey club is gearing up for the big attack - fans can still secure a season ticket until April 30 and also receive a jersey for the new season for free!

Those responsible at Graz99ers are continuing to work intensively in the background on a powerful squad for the upcoming season. With Frank Hora, they have now been able to land a physically strong defender. Hora, who played overseas for many years and made eight appearances in the AHL, moved to Europe in 2023/2024 and was under contract with Banska Bystrica in Slovakia last season. The defenseman scored 11 goals and 22 assists there. Hora signed a contract for the coming season.

"We had very good talks with head coach Lange and sports director Philipp Pinter," Hora said in the club's statement. "I'm sure we'll play a good role next season and I really wanted to be a part of that. Personally, I want to help Graz to be successful again and I want to win the title together with the team." 99ers sporting director Pinter: "He hasn't been in Europe for long, but now wants to hit the ground running here. Graz will be the ideal place for this."
