Short distances before the derby

FavAC's Eastern League footballers can even play away from home. On Friday, coach Dozhghar Kadir's team will host the Young Violets - there is only a 1200-meter walk between the two venues in Kennergasse and Horrplatz. 

When FavAC visit Mauerwerk in the Eastern League, the favorites don't have to leave their Kennergasse pitch, as their opponents are lodgers. However, if the FavAC players really are playing away from home, the Generali-Arena, where they will face the Young Violets today, is the closest, at around 1200 meters on foot. So there's no question of "away from home".

"We're really looking forward to the game," said FavAC coach Dozhghar Kadir. "Many of our fans are also Austria supporters. But we also want to pick up points." You can use them in the relegation battle. A direct clash with Ardagger awaits next week.

At the top end of the table, leaders Rapid II are favorites today in Marchfeld. If the Hütteldorfer slip up, their rivals Donaufeld could take advantage in the Krone TV live match against Krems on Saturday.
