“A lie!” Luis Enrique attacks journalist
New turmoil at Paris Saint-Germain! Before the cup match against Stade Rennes, coach Luis Enrique commented on the rumors about a rift in his relationship with Kylian Mbappe and accused journalists of lying.
"Foot Mercato" reported that Mbappe called coach Luis Enrique a "son of a bitch" as he walked into the dressing room, leading to a scandal in the dressing room. However, the Spaniard did not want to leave this unanswered on Tuesday.
"The strange thing is that everything said is based on a lie. Someone has invented an insult and all kinds of speculation arises from it. I take it all with humor. I'm very happy with all my players, including Kylian. He has always behaved in an exemplary manner."
Enrique substituted Mbappe against Marseille in the 64th minute and at least felt the displeasure of the PSG superstar on his departure and via Instagram (see above).
