Robber duo dragged victim to the ground on the street

They obviously didn't give a damn about Easter peace: on Holy Saturday, shortly before 2 p.m., two young men pulled a 57-year-old man to the ground on Linke Brückenstraße in Linz, punched him in the face and robbed their victim. The two Romanians (18, 19) were taken into custody. 

On Holy Saturday at around 1.50 pm, a robbery took place in the area of Linke Brückenstraße in Linz. Two initially unknown persons pulled a 57-year-old man from Linz to the ground and punched him in the face. They then robbed the man of cash and fled. The victim was taken to the Kepler University Hospital with undetermined injuries. 

Analysis of evidence was successful
By analyzing the evidence in detail, the investigators identified a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old Romanian. Although they were initially denied as suspects by the victim, the investigations revealed that the two were urgently suspected of the crime, which is why the Linz public prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant for each of them. The next day, the investigators found the 19-year-old in the Linz city area. He did not confess during his interrogation and was taken to Linz prison.

Caught at the main station
The arrest order against the 18-year-old was executed on April 2 at around 11 a.m. after he was spotted at Linz Central Station. He confessed and was also taken to Linz prison.
