Haas got engaged – congratulations from sports stars
Love news from Barbara Haas! Austria's former tennis number one got engaged to her long-term love Jonas at Easter, the 28-year-old Upper Austrian announced on Monday via Instagram.
Things are not going according to plan in sport. Haas has been working on her comeback since hand surgery in 2021 and a shoulder injury, but she is apparently on cloud nine when it comes to love. Long-term boyfriend Jonas proposed to her - and she was obviously delighted to accept, as an Instagram post and photo shows.
Celebrity well-wishers
The congratulations of many sports stars followed promptly. Marion Maruska, sports director at the ÖTV, Tamira Paszek, Sinja Kraus and Nordic aces Michael Hayböck and Mario Seidl, as well as Nici Schmidhofer, Viktoria Schwarz and Sofia Polcanova wished the couple all the best for their future together.
Let's hope that things will soon be looking up for the former world number 133 ...
