Tyrol: Overturned trailer caused a long traffic jam

Road users in Oetz in the Tyrolean Ötztal valley had to be patient on Saturday. The reason for this was not the traffic, but the trailer of a tractor. It had tipped over onto the road. It was not possible to divert the traffic.

The accident occurred at around 10 am. A 20-year-old man was driving a tractor and trailer on the B186 in Oetz. "The trailer overturned in a bend and blocked both lanes," said the police. As a result, the road had to be completely closed for an hour.

Major traffic jam
As it was not possible to divert the traffic, there was a major traffic jam. After the trailer was recovered and the road was cleaned, the road was reopened. No persons were injured in the accident.
