Aggressive fare dodger attacked police officers

A Nigerian man (32) was temporarily arrested in St. Johann in Tirol. The reason: the man was traveling on a regional train without a ticket and was quite aggressive. During the police check, the 32-year-old injured an officer.

The incident occurred on Friday shortly before 7pm. A train attendant was checking tickets on a regional train in the direction of St. Johann. She caught the 32-year-old, who was traveling without a ticket. As he was also behaving extremely aggressively, she called the police.

When police officers tried to check the man at St. Johann station, he resisted.
