Wanted to feed cows: Woman (70) fell through hatch

Fatal accident in Gallzein in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz on Friday: a farmer's wife (70) wanted to feed her cows and fell through a feed hatch. After the impact, she was left with serious injuries.

The incident occurred at around 6.30 am. The 70-year-old wanted to feed her cows in her barn. According to the police, she fell through a feed hatch from a height of around 2.5 meters.

Taken to hospital
The senior citizen consequently landed on the concrete floor. She sustained serious injuries in the process. The Tyrolean woman was taken to hospital in Schwaz by the ambulance service.
