Tour with stolen car ends in a crash for thief

The police in Wörgl in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein are looking for a car thief! Apparently the perpetrator caused an accident shortly after his coup. It is unclear whether the driver was injured.

The thief struck between 10.30 p.m. and 1.10 a.m. "He stole a car from an underground garage of an apartment building in Wörgl, which was not registered for traffic," said the investigators. In the course of the manhunt, officers eventually found the vehicle.

Stolen license plate also discovered
Apparently, the car thief had caused a crash with the vehicle. "The car had severe damage to the front of the handlebars," they say. Not far from the scene of the accident, the police also found a stolen license plate. The amount of material damage has not yet been determined.
