Speeding driver in East Tyrol had 52 km/h too much on the speedometer
A Tyrolean (26) has lost his driver's license. The reason: in East Tyrol, the car driver sped past a police patrol on Thursday. The speeding driver had 52 km/h too much on his speedometer.
The speeding driver was caught by the police at around 6.30 pm. Officers from the Lienz police station were also carrying out speed checks on the B 100 in Nikolsdorf as part of routine traffic controls. Suddenly, the 26-year-old drove past in his car coming from the direction of Lienz.
Corresponding reports to the authorities followed.

The speed limit in this area would have been 100 km/h. However, the speedometer of the speeding driver showed 152 km/h. The driver's license was confiscated on the spot. Corresponding reports to the authorities will follow.
