Graz city center: streetcars running again from Sunday

For a week, two track construction sites in Graz slowed down the streetcars - there was heavy criticism of the overloaded rail replacement service. From Easter Sunday, the Bims will now run regularly again.

Good news for everyone who relies on public transport in Graz. After two track construction sites - one at Jakominiplatz and one in Eggenberg - had slowed down the streetcars in the city center for a week, the Bims will be running again from Sunday. From 4.30 a.m., all streetcar lines will be running as usual again. From Tuesday, the normal timetable will resume - because of Easter, the vacation timetable will apply until then.

Before that, there had been heavy criticism of the rail replacement service - it was hopelessly overloaded - we reported. Hopefully things will now return to normal.
