A late Bellingham goal earned England a 2-2 draw against Belgium in London, with ÖFB referee Sebastian Gishamer taking charge of the match.

England avoided their second defeat in just a few days at Wembley Stadium. After the 0:1 against Brazil, the "Three Lions" managed a lucky draw against Belgium. Youri Tielemans gave the visitors the lead twice with a brace (11th, 36th), with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford not looking good for the first goal.

The hosts scored first from the penalty spot through Ivan Toney (17). He had previously been brought down by Jan Vertonghen, referee Gishamer immediately pointed to the spot and his decision was confirmed by VAR Manuel Schüttengruber. A goal by Jarrod Bowen was also disallowed for offside. Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham equalized in the 95th minute.

Hungary defeated Kosovo 2:0, Franco Foda's first defeat in his second game in charge of the Kosovars. In a clash between two European Championship participants, Slovenia defeated Portugal, led by captain Cristiano Ronaldo, 2-0 in Ljubljana, while the Czech Republic beat Armenia 2-1 under the watchful eye of referee Julian Weinberger.
