Out for Adidas! Outfitter quake for the DFB team
The German national team's outfitter quake - just three months before the home European Championships! After 77 years, the partnership between the DFB and Adidas is coming to an end.
From 2027 to 2034, the German national team will enter into a partnership with Nike! A piquant fact: at the 2024 European Championships, the Nagelsmann squad will still set up base camp at Adidas in Herzogenaurach and play in the jerseys that have just been unveiled - rather unusual ones. The 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico will then be a farewell for the traditional German company.
Dr. Holger Blask, Chairman of the DFB Management Board, in the "Bild" newspaper: "Nike submitted by far the best economic offer and also convinced us with its content vision, which also includes a clear commitment to the promotion of amateur and popular sports as well as the sustainable development of women's soccer in Germany."
