Heart attack at the team hotel
The 57-year-old Barone suffered a heart attack at the team hotel on Sunday shortly before his team's visit to Atalanta Bergamo and collapsed. After initial treatment on site and stabilization of his condition, he was immediately flown by rescue helicopter to nearby Milan, where he was taken to the intensive care unit at San Raffaele Hospital.
