Saalbach slalom: Croatian lands awkwardly in the snow

That didn't look good at all! Leona Popovic crashed in the slalom final in Saalbach. The Croatian immediately held her knee.

The 26-year-old was already taking full risk on the start slope. But then the take-off, Popovic landed roughly in the snow.

Popovic was left lying there in pain, the first thing she grabbed was her knee. Fortunately, she was able to cross the finish line herself a little later - a good sign.

There is still no information on her state of health. We can only hope that the technical specialist is not too badly affected.
