26-year-old seriously injured in collision in Weiz
On Tuesday evening, two cars collided at a junction in the district of Weiz. A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured.
A 26-year-old woman from Weiz was driving on the main road towards Gleisdorf at around half past seven on Tuesday evening when a 53-year-old Romanian turned onto the same road. At the junction, his car crashed into the side of hers - the young woman's car was thrown through the air and came to rest in the ditch.

She had to be freed from the car, given first aid as quickly as possible and then flown to Graz Regional Hospital by the Christophorus 12 rescue helicopter. While she suffered serious injuries, the Romanian resident in Weiz was unharmed. A breathalyzer test on the 35-year-old was negative and the road was closed for one and a half hours.
