Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson's Premier League thriller against Liverpool ended after just 55 minutes on Sunday. The Brazilian injured his thigh in a duel with striker Darwin Nunez and will miss around a month with the Sky Blues.

It was Ederson himself who was too brutal in the tackle, even causing Liverpool to concede a penalty. The goalkeeper was still standing between the posts for Alexis Mac Allister's successful attempt to make it 1-1 before he had to make way for Stefan Ortega.

The German now has the opportunity to draw attention to himself in the upcoming games due to the loss of the one goalie. This will not be an easy task, however, with Newcastle, Brighton and Arsenal awaiting Manchester City in the coming weeks.
