Pedestrian was thrown over the hood

A tragic accident occurred to the south of the Klagenfurt exhibition center on Sunday evening. A woman in dark clothing wanted to cross the road when a driver was driving along it.

For the 47-year-old Bosnian, who was traveling west on Florian-Gröger-Straße, the pedestrian probably came out of nowhere. "The driver was unable to stop in time and a collision occurred," reported the police.

The woman was thrown over the hood and windscreen in the accident and then remained lying on the road. "She was taken to Klagenfurt Hospital with indeterminate injuries," the police continued. Both the injured pedestrian and the Bosnian driver were not under the influence of alcohol.
