Title duel at Easter

Rapid against LASK to kick off the Champions Group

The Champions Group of the Bundesliga starts next Friday evening with a home match between SK Rapid (7.30 pm) and LASK. This was announced by the Bundesliga on Sunday evening. 

The two other duels are Austria Klagenfurt against Sturm Graz and Red Bull Salzburg against Hartberg, which will take place on Sunday. The first round of the qualifying group will take place on Saturday, with Vienna Austria hosting Altach.

In the title fight, Sturm Graz will host Red Bull Salzburg on Easter Sunday (17:00/31 March). Just four days later, the two teams will meet again in the Cup semi-final, this time in Wals-Siezenheim. The return match in the league will take place on April 28 (17:00), which could possibly be a preliminary decision in the championship, as there are only three rounds left.

English week in April
The final matchday of the championship group will take place on May 19. Sturm Graz will host Klagenfurt Austria, Salzburg LASK and Rapid Hartberg. The final match in the relegation battle will take place the day before, with current bottom side Lustenau traveling to Altach and WSG Tirol taking on Wolfsberg. Blau-Weiß Linz face Vienna Austria at home.

The fixture list also includes an English week at the end of April, with three rounds taking place from April 19 to 28. Sturm will face Rapid twice during this period and Salzburg at the end of the week.
