17-year-old speeding through the city at 100 km/h
Once again, the Klagenfurt police had to stop a night-time speeder on Friday. A 17-year-old holder of a driving license will now be charged.
The 17-year-old from Klagenfurt was driving his car through the city of Klagenfurt at around 10 p.m. at a significantly excessive speed. During a follow-up police search, 97 km/h were recorded, taking into account the measurement tolerance.
The driver committed numerous administrative offenses while driving and was finally stopped by the patrol and subjected to a driver and vehicle inspection. The 17-year-old holder of a probationary license from Klagenfurt will be reported to the police. "The authorities will then decide how to proceed," said the police.
It was only on Wednesday that a 20-year-old test certificate holder was caught at 96 km/h in Villacher Straße in Klagenfurt at around 9.30 pm by laser measurement. The 20-year-old from Klagenfurt had his driver's license confiscated on the spot.
