Barrier for protective construction now also on the city side

In order to ensure the continued safety of the many hikers on the popular walking trail, the rockfall protection in the area of the viewing bridge (Hauserbrücke) on the Gaisberg circular trail is being renewed.

For this reason, the hiking trail next to the Koppler side will also be closed in the other direction from Monday, March 11. Access will be possible until after the Zistelalm children's playground, after which a barrier and sign will inform hikers of the closure. Both closures are expected to last until the end of April.

New rope barriers will also be used during the construction work and two existing ones will be removed. The necessary helicopter flights will be announced separately.
