Man (25) threatened his partner and mother with a knife

Next case of domestic violence: On Monday evening, a 25-year-old man threatened his partner and her mother with a knife, hit his girlfriend's son (7) and was uncooperative when the police were later called to arrest him.

A 25-year-old man is said to have threatened his 30-year-old partner and her 60-year-old mother with a knife in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Monday evening. The situation escalated when he injured himself with the knife.

When the women tried to stop the man's plan, the 25-year-old wanted to attack them with the knife. The man is even said to have hit the 30-year-old woman's seven-year-old son with the flat of his hand.

Resisted arrest
The women and the child were able to escape from the apartment and alert the police. The suspect was provisionally arrested by the officers. According to the police, the man violently resisted arrest. He was banned from entering and approaching the apartment and a temporary weapons ban was issued.

The man is currently being held by the police and has not yet been questioned. The women and the son remained physically unharmed.
