In a bar in Sölden
Man knocks out opponent’s tooth in brawl
Both parties were injured in a brawl in the Tyrolean winter sports resort of Sölden on Monday evening. The two young Germans had previously clashed in a pub.
At around 10 p.m., the argument between the 21-year-old and the 25-year-old developed in the Sölden pub and finally culminated in a physical altercation. Witnesses told the police that the 25-year-old had punched the younger German in the face. This was so strong that the 21-year-old lost a front tooth. The attacker's hand was seriously injured.
The attacker did not want to be helped
Witnesses then set the rescue chain in motion. After first aid, the 21-year-old was taken to hospital in Innsbruck. The second man, however, refused further treatment. He stated that he wanted to go to the doctor on his own.
It is not yet clear why the two men started arguing. The police are still investigating.
