Two perpetrators caught
Wild animals shot illegally and weapons hoarded
Two locals who shot wild animals without permission in Imst in Tyrol have been caught by the police. The two suspects' homes were searched on Monday. The officers found lots of weapons.
According to the investigators, between June and October 2023 there were several cases of "encroachment on someone else's hunting rights" in the Imst area. "Several wild animals were shot by unknown perpetrators." Extensive investigations have now led the detectives to a 33-year-old and 54-year-old man.
Several weapons, some of which were prohibited, and hunting trophies were seized.

"During a search of the two suspects' homes in the early hours of Monday morning, several partly prohibited weapons and hunting trophies were seized." A provisional weapons ban was issued against the two suspects.
