Dissatisfied! Vadlau only sailed to tenth place

Due to the weather, the medal race at the Sailing World Championships in Palma de Mallorca was canceled. Maria Rainerin Lara Vadlau and her partner Lukas Mähr are dissatisfied with their own performance. . 

Nothing worked on Sunday! Wind peaks of up to 31 knots and high waves prevented a fair and safe race at the Sailing World Championships in Palma de Mallorca and the planned medal race was canceled. As a result, Lara Vadlau and Lukas Mähr finished the World Championship in the Olympic 470 class in tenth place. This is the third time the duo have finished a world championship in the top ten, but they are still dissatisfied. 

"We weren't able to do a few things well, a few others better. Overall, we are not satisfied with our performance. We know what the reasons are and will work on getting better," says Lara Vadlau. The pair will continue with the Trofeo Princesa Sofia at the beginning of April.
