Man (60) seriously injured after jumping over a ski jump

Serious accident on Friday in Aschau in the Tyrolean Zillertal! A German man (60) jumped over a ski jump on his skis. However, the jump ended with a fall on the outrun. In the end, the winter sports enthusiast was taken to the hospital in Innsbruck.

The accident happened at around 1.30 pm. The 60-year-old was skiing over a jump in the fun park in the Hochzillertal ski area. "He lost control and landed on the outrun of the jump," said the investigators. The man briefly complained of pain in his back, but continued after a short break.

A short time later, his condition worsened and he went to a hut. There, the rescue chain was set in motion. In the end, the German was taken to the hospital in Innsbruck with serious injuries.
