Incident in training: Polster has to join Young Violets

Manuel Polster will miss the rest of the season for disciplinary reasons. Not an isolated case, Blau-Weiß Linz await on Sunday.

Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident at Austria: ex-Veilchen Aleksandar Jukic's altercation with assistant coach Koc was the straw that broke the camel's back, prompting the club to part ways with the 23-year-old for disciplinary reasons. However, Polster is said to have shown some understanding and hopefully that was the last disciplinary slip-up.

The Violets have other worries anyway, with BW Linz awaiting them in the race for the top six on Sunday. "We were very self-critical in the derby and want to show a different face now," said coach Michael Wimmer.
