No training again – now the FIS is discussing
As the second and final downhill training session was also canceled on Friday, there will be no downhill for the women's alpine skiers this weekend in Kvitfjell. An additional super-G will be held on Saturday instead of the planned downhill. The ÖSV women's chances in the globes have therefore diminished.
Once again, persistent snowfall and fog made the second practice run impossible.
A downhill (Saturday) and a super-G (Sunday) were planned at the penultimate speed stage of this World Cup winter. Now there will be a super-G on Saturday instead of the downhill.

Gut-Behrami benefits
This means that Lara Gut-Behrami's chances of winning the small downhill globe have increased considerably. With just one race remaining, the Swiss racer has a 68-point lead over her closest rival Stephanie Venier and a 72-point lead over Cornelia Hütter.
