Top club FC Barcelona and surprise team Girona have suffered another setback in the Spanish soccer title fight! 

The champions from Barcelona had to settle for a 0-0 draw at fifth-placed Athletic Bilbao. In the first half of the game, coach Xavi also had to replace two key players, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri, through injury.

Girona again lost 1-0 at league stragglers Real Mallorca, the third defeat for coach Michel's team in the last four games.

Girona are second in the table with 59 points, seven points behind Real Madrid, who only managed a draw at Valencia on Saturday, but one point ahead of FC Barcelona.
