Young ex-convict (16) robbed boys

Just a few weeks ago, a 16-year-old was released from prison in Lower Austria. Now he is back in prison "out of sheer stupidity" after robbing a boy.

Unteachable - this characteristic probably best applies to a 16-year-old from Krems. The boy was with two friends (14 and 18 years old) in the Bühl-Center in Krems when two 13 and 14 year old boys ran into him. He held the younger of the two in front of a clothing store and demanded that he hand over cash and his jacket. Although his victim was able to break away briefly, he grabbed him again and pushed the boy against the display.

Partially confessed
After the robbery, the trio ran off and the two youths reported the incident to the police. Witnesses and footage from surveillance cameras, however, proved the suspects guilty. The 16-year-old main offender had only been released from prison at the end of the previous year.

He has now been sent back to Krems prison. He partially confessed during his interrogation. The motive for his crime: he had only acted "out of pure stupidity" and a lack of money.
