Trainers in high demand
Price tag set: This is how much Xabi Alonso will cost
It is quite possible that Xabi Alonso will have a new employer in the coming season. After Bayer Leverkusen's recent strong results, the Spanish coach is currently in high demand, but interested parties would have to put a tidy sum on the table to sign him.
According to Sky, Alonso does not have an exit clause in his contract, which runs until 2026, but Leverkusen would let him leave this summer for a sum of between 15 and 25 million euros.
Alonso has already held talks with FC Bayern, according to reports, while Liverpool, where Jürgen Klopp will take over as coach after the season, are also said to be interested in the 2010 World Cup winner.
