A 24-year-old woman’s car “went on its own”

On Tuesday afternoon, a parked car rolled around 60 meters over a sloping parking lot in Birkfeld (Weiz district). One woman was injured and three vehicles were damaged.

At around 4.30 p.m., a 24-year-old woman parked her car in the parking lot of a car dealership in Birkfeld and then went into the showroom of the dealership. Shortly afterwards, the woman heard a loud bang and noticed that her car had crashed into two other vehicles parked in front of a drugstore.

Young woman trapped
A 26-year-old woman, who was trying to put her shopping into her vehicle, was trapped between her car and another parked car as a result of the collision. The woman was able to free herself from her predicament and went to hospital for further medical assessment.
