On Monday afternoon, the clothing store C&A announced in a press release that its event planned for Wednesday would be canceled. The 51-year-old woman who was found dead together with her 13-year-old daughter on Friday was a "beloved colleague".

Wednesday, February 28, would have been the day for the C&A Spring/Summer Collection 2024. However, the company announced in a press release on Monday evening that the event would have to be postponed "with a heavy heart". Because: "The violent death of our beloved colleague and her daughter has affected us deeply."

The news of the tragedy has shaken the employees, which is why "it is necessary to take a step back and give ourselves the space to grieve and support each other. We have therefore decided to postpone the presentation of our spring-summer collection to a later date." As a family business, the company stands firmly by the side of all colleagues and their families. 

The 51-year-old was found dead with her daughter (13) in her apartment in Vienna-Landstraße on Friday. The injuries and the daughter's autopsy already provided proof that it was murder. The man and father, who is urgently suspected of the crime, has since disappeared.
