Accident driver flees the scene with accomplice

On Friday evening, a man from Flachgau (24) caused a rear-end collision on the B147 Braunauer Bundesstraße in the area of a bypass tunnel. Instead of exchanging information with the German other party involved in the accident, the young man from Flachgau fled the scene.

He then parked his car in a parking lot and had a friend pick him up there.

In the meantime, the German filed a complaint with the police. The fugitive was located by the officers a short time later.

A breathalyzer test on the man from Flachgau showed 2.56 per mille. The young man has now lost his driver's license. He will also face several charges.
