This has never happened before: today, Wednesday, the Austrian Web Analysis (ÖWA) confirmed that the Kronen Zeitung has the largest online reach of all news sites in Austria. krone.at leads the ranking in all important key figures. The ORF had previously had data protection problems with the measuring institute.

The ÖWA, which is considered the "currency" for the domestic online market and monitors all accesses, produces the following rankings for January 2024 in the area of individual media offerings.

Strongest media brand in the country
The "Krone" is and remains by far the strongest media brand in the country - according to ÖWA, nobody reaches more Austrians, which is now confirmed both by the figures on the people reached in January (around 3.4 million) and the end devices reached (around 5.8 million) such as cell phones, laptops, etc.

20 million more visits
No other media website is visited as often (visits) as krone.at - this is where the gap is clearest, with krone.at recording a good 20 million more visits than its nearest competitor in January. Our news portal was visited more than 50 million times last month alone.
