Zadic, Karas & Co: Hilarity at the Lawyers’ Ball 2024
The Lawyers' Ball at the Hofburg was once again a brilliant event this year: international stars such as Heather Mills, political figures such as Justice Minister Alma Zadić and Othmar Karas, as well as local stars and starlets: The celebrity crowd was huge. The 2024 motto: "Vienna meets Tokyo".
Heather Mills, known as a model, sportswoman and ex-wife of Paul McCartney, was a guest at the invitation of her friend Marika Lichter. In an interview with krone.tv, she expressed her enthusiasm for the helpfulness and friendliness that prevails in Austria.
Presenter Silvia Schneider hosted the evening in her usual gallant manner, with an outfit perfectly matched to the motto. Othmar Karas, First Vice-President of the European Parliament, emphasized the importance of lawyers who are also involved in socio-political issues in these times.
