Special season
Jungle camp moves to South Africa in summer
Just one day after the grand finale of "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!", fans of the popular RTL show already have something to look forward to again. Because a special season has been announced for the summer - in South Africa!
This was announced by the two presenters Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen late on Monday evening in the show "Das große Wiedersehen". In keeping with the 20th anniversary of the format, which is actually filmed in Australia, twelve former campers are now venturing into the bush in South Africa on "Ich bin ein Star - Showdown der Dschungel-Legenden", according to RTL. However, the presenter duo kept quiet about the names of the stars.
In the season that ended on Sunday evening, singer Lucy Diakovska (47) from the pop band No Angels ("Daylight In Your Eyes") took the jungle crown. She was followed by reality contestant Leyla Lahouar (27) and influencer Twenty4Tim (23).
Incidentally, Diakovska plans to donate part of her prize money of 100,000 euros to an animal charity.
