Murder alert in Bad Vöslau (Lower Austria): Three lifeless men with gunshot wounds were found in a burning apartment on Saturday afternoon. The crime scene was cordoned off and forensics have already begun their work.

The fire department made a terrible discovery on Saturday afternoon in Bad Vöslau (district of Baden): After being called to a fire and banging noises at around 2 p.m. and successfully extinguishing the fire, the emergency services discovered three lifeless middle-aged men. According to initial information, all three had gunshot wounds. A revolver was also found, as the "Krone" learned.

Investigation into suspected murder
The exact identities and other backgrounds were initially unclear. On the spot, the Lower Austrian State Office of Criminal Investigation found "traces of fire on the balcony and inside".

The scene around the apartment building was cordoned off over a large area. In the early evening hours, a team secured evidence. It is going "step by step, room by room", said Stefan Pfandler, head of the Lower Austrian State Office of Criminal Investigation. "Then we will try to reconstruct what might have happened." There are no direct witnesses.
