Tyrol: Woman (30) falls and is injured on a ski tour

Fatal winter sports accident in Kelchsau in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel on Monday! A German woman (30) fell during a ski tour. She was flown to hospital with a knee injury.

Together with five other people, the 30-year-old was on a ski tour from the "Rosswildalm" in the direction of the "Tristkopf". "During the subsequent descent from the 'Nadernachjoch' via the north-western slope, the German woman fell," the investigators say.

Flown to hospital by helicopter
The woman suffered an injury to her left knee in the fall. The ski tourer was first treated at the scene of the accident. She was then flown to the district hospital in Kufstein by emergency helicopter.
