Vacation start in Bavaria – lots of traffic jams in Salzburg

Since the early hours of the morning, ÖAMTC mobility information has recorded heavy traffic coming from Bavaria, which then continued on the Austrian transit routes. In Salzburg, the main bottleneck was once again the roadworks area between Golling and Werfen. 

There were blockages in the roadworks area, especially in the southbound direction, causing long delays with traffic jams of up to 10 kilometers.

There were also major delays on the alternative routes through the A10 neighboring communities in the morning.
