Beer glass smashed in the face: man injured

A man from Salzburg (29) and a man from Upper Austria (50) got into a fight in a pub in Gstättengasse in the center of Salzburg on Tuesday night. The 29-year-old threw a beer glass into the face of his opponent.

The glass broke, the 50-year-old suffered a five-centimeter cut under his eye and had to be treated at the accident hospital. The man from Salzburg was provisionally arrested and charged with intentional grievous bodily harm.
