Fire department operation: Pizza forgotten in the oven again

A smoke alarm sounded before 6 a.m. on Sunday in an apartment building in Radenthein: the resident had forgotten a pizza in the oven and suffered smoke inhalation, which had already happened to him on New Year's Day.

At 5.37 a.m. on Sunday, the siren alerted the Radenthein firefighters: the smoke alarm had gone off in an apartment building and neighbors had called the fire department.

Once again, the Radenthein resident had forgotten food in the oven: there had already been a fire department operation on New Year's Day because of this.(Bild: FF Radenthein)

The affected apartment was filled with smoke and the light was on. The breathing apparatus unit was able to find a man in the apartment: He had suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service. 

The cause of the smoke was a pizza that had been left in the oven. The same person had already caused such an incident in the same apartment on New Year's Day.
